APPLICATION PROCESS

To start the application process, please complete a Pupil Information form and a Family Demographics form for each applicant and submit these forms to the school front office, accompanied by a payment of $100 per student by the application deadline listed below. Please include copies of any report cards and results of standardized testing, if applicable, together with a photo of each applicant. Applications will be accepted past the deadline date, but please call the Admissions Office to check that space is available in the grade of interest. Any late applications must be accompanied by a $25 late fee.

Once your application is received, you will be given information regarding the required assessment, conducted by Chancy and Bruce Educational Resources, Inc. (www.chancyandbruce.com). If the application is received during the normal admissions cycle, the assessment will be conducted at the school, on the dates listed. If the application is received late in the cycle, a private assessment will need to be scheduled.

Included in the application packet is an Administrators Evaluation form which needs to be completed by the Administrator of your child’s current school and returned to St. Timothy School.

Once all the above paperwork is received, together with the results of the Chancy & Bruce screening, the final step in the process is a family interview with the Principal.

 

Important Dates in the Application Process

September 12, 2016: Applications for the 2017/18 School Year Available

October 6, 2016: School Tour – 7.00pm – 9.00pm

November 3, 2016: School Tour – 9.00am – 10.00am

January 6, 2017: Pre-K – 5th Grade Applications Deadline with a non-refundable $100 fee ($25 late fee will be applied to applications received after this deadline)

January 20, 2017: Pre-K – 5th Grade Administrator’s Evaluation and School Records due to School, if applicable

February 17, 2017: 6th and 7th Grade Applications Due with a non-refundable $100 fee ($25 late fee will be applied to applications received after this deadline)

January 14, 2017, February 4, 2017 & February 25, 2017: Assessment testing by Chancy & Bruce scheduled for applicants at School

March 10, 2017: 6th and 7th Grade Administrator’s Evaluation and School Records due to School

March 6, 2017: Letters of Acceptance mailed Pre-K – 5th Grade

March 31, 2017: Letters of Acceptance mailed 6th and 7th Grade
