St. Timothy School was established in 1958 and we are proud to celebrate 50 great years of educating children with character, compassion and values for life. Under the nurturing guidance of our faculty, children at St. Timothy School are challenged and supported academically while also learning the character-building skills that will help them succeed throughout their lives.
At St. Timothy’s, we recognize that the years between four and fourteen are the most intensely productive and vital learning years in a child’s development. Children’s earliest educational experiences help shape the kind of learners they become. For this reason, we seek to develop in our students a spirit of inquiry and a joy in learning.
St. Timothy School is a small school, deliberately. Our small class size enables us to focus on each child as an individual. It fosters a feeling of family -- a supportive climate of trust and understanding, communicating values and building community. In this environment, children form positive relationships with classmates and teachers.
St. Timothy students and faculty come from a variety of backgrounds -- racial, ethnic, and economic. We value and actively encourage this mutually enriching diversity. It is part of the process of helping each child discover his or her own uniqueness and infinite worth as a human being and at the same time, that of others.
